Introducing our new mentorship database

We’ve long held a yearly tradition of hosting a mentor tea at the annual meeting. This is where junior and senior scholars who have been matched according to mutual research interests get to meet face to face in an open, friendly, and relaxed environment. But what if you haven’t been able to participate because you haven’t been able to make it to the conference? Well, keep reading – this announcement is for you!

We are implementing a new database to facilitate opportunities to meet at the annual meeting (via the mentor tea) as well as to meet electronically (via emails or phone calls). We’ll still provide the same match-up of mentors and mentees based on research interests and methodologies, but now it’s up to you to reach out and make the connection! For more information about the program, check out our info sheet: JSC Mentorship Program Info.

If you are a senior scholar (that is, more than 8 years have passed since receiving your degree), you can find the sign-up form here: MentorSignup.

If you are a junior scholar (less than 8 years have passed since receiving your degree, or you’re still a student), here is the sign-up form for you: MenteeSignup

We hope to see you in our database and be your political psychology mentoring matchmaker!
